The use of molybdenum plate

Molybdenum is very hard and soft, and it is tougher than tungsten. Molybdenum has a high elastic modulus, and tungsten and tantalum have only a relatively high melting point. Molybdenum plates are used in many special steels. Some other common uses are molybdenum electrodes, vacuum furnace applications, nuclear energy, missiles and aircraft parts.

Molybdenum plate

The thickness ranges from 00.090 inches to 3 inches and is classified as a molybdenum plate. Molybdenum plates are widely used in the construction of molds and parts furnaces, and the manufacture of components in the electronics and semiconductor industries.

The organosilicon molybdenum board was reviewed using silicon source Si2Cl6 and siliconization conditions and some of its properties. The molybdenum silicide of this plate is first deposited, such as 4 MoSi2, 6 meters thick in the initial stage (after 10 minutes), and then subjected to combined storage. After 30 minutes, a uniform layer of MoSi2 molybdenum silicide plate is formed. The weight of the silicone plate dissolved by the anode increased exponentially in 0.2 M sulfuric acid, reducing the thickness of the MoSi2 layer. Corrosion of seawater and sea sand, wear of organosilicon molybdenum plates, increase the resistivity, thereby increasing the silicidation temperature and the flow of Si2Cl6.
